OK, so I was reading around DA today, and I noticed a number of people bashing President Bush. Normal, this is an art community which means you are going to be drawing more of the 'counter culture' types. Then I started to think, "Where are these people from. This is a very international community." So I checked. Alot of people that were bashing Bush were from the U.K., Germany, Canada, Ect. So I just shook my head. All over the place, people are pissed about the US getting involved in other countries affairs, and I'm pissed about that as well. People often ask me to describe what I write or take pictures of. Even DA has a section devoted to only that. I have never really explained my stuff because the way I see it is this: With poetry and prose, I write this for one reason or another, and it means a certain thing to me, but that is not nessicarily what it means to another person. To someone else, what those words represent could be the exact opposite of how I felt when I wrote them. And thats the beauty of art! It can mean so many different things to different people. With pictures, honestly I take pictures that I think would look 'cool'. 90% of my pictures have no hidden meaning,

I've been going through my poetry books, looking for stuff that I can post up here on DA, and I've found that I mention stars alot. I think that stars represent happiness to me. To alot of people happiness is the Sun (hey, its a star too) but to me stars mean that every thing is OK, and when I can't see them, it means that my life isn't going too well. Kinda strange that I never realized this before. Oh well.
